With Halloween being next Thursday I have been inspired to make some bead spiders.  This one here is my first one, and my husband wants to keep it for his own.  So I will be making a few more to play with color and sizes.  I also finished two of my fun Halloween plaques using my cricut and the cricut craft room free software they offer weekly.  I have some other project planned for Christmas gifts that I really need to get a jump start on.  I am excited to feel the motivation, though this is backwards meaning that "action creates motivation."

Has anyone played with the Cricut Craft Room lately?  Every since lucking out and getting the kewl Halloween freebie of the week last month, I've not seen anything as fun.  I check it every week hoping there will be something I can use, but so far nothing.  It was fun for vinyl cutting, the cricut works as well if not better than some commercial plotters I've worked with.

I view Pinterest.com a time or two each week.  It seems that only once in a while you see something fresh and new.  Though I do think I'll try making some beaded spiders to see how cute they turn out.  Would love to sell some, but this close to Halloween I may be to late, we'll see.

With Christmas around the corner I need to get at least one quilt top finished and sent off to my mom so she can quilt it on her big machine.  Would like to do a second one......and may, but we will see.

We are still working on our Hotdog wagon, but may not be in action until after Christmas.

It is now October and well.........  the summer was one of surprises...  has some real curve balls.  But in the end I try to wear a happy face and look at the positives and keep faith by believing all will work for the common good and have a wonderful outcome in the end.

Our "Zombie Gore'me" is still a work in process having to deal with local county health department on just passing our construction inspection.  This means that we have to get our trailer to their specifications before we can open for business.  So though our trailer is new with all new equipment and was approved in the next county, our county wants different things.  Of course none of this is cheap.  But we have to install a secure screen to keep flys out....... which is fine though no taco truck around follows this.  We however will abide by the rules and just install a window.  Then we have water tanks that are in need of replacement, though ours are new, they have to be ONE tank, cannot be two separate tanks.  Then of course sealing cracks inside with caulking and buying a culinary hose.

I say REALLY!  Then will you leave us alone and get this business going?  Probably not......  but though money is pretty much non existent right now, we're doing what we can to get quotes and time frames of getting finished.  So an official open date is now up in the air.  If our winter is not to horrible we may be able to open sooner than March, but you never can tell.

Also, now started my last psychology class, which will leave me with only two classes left to have my BS-psychology degree.  I am ready for  this journey to be over, but am so glad I stuck with it to achieve a goal on my bucket list.

I have been having fun recently with my Cricut Expression.  I recently logged onto my cricut.com website where you get to cut free items for a week, and it changes every Wednesday.  I ended up being able to cut a lot of Halloween items and did not have to buy a cartridge.  I look forward to trying it with fabric next.  As soon as I get a project finished I'll post pictures.

This is pretty much what I've been up to since August.......  It's been up and down, but we'll keep moving forward.
